I was at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Nigerian Army Officers' Wives Association (NAOWA) Wellness Centre, Mambilla Barracks, Abuja.

The World Bank - Umuguma road is another critical infrastructure at the heart of the socio-economic advancement of our people in and around Owerri, the State Capital.

I congratulate Sir Frank Ibezim on emerging victorious both at the polls and the tribunals, to represent Imo North (Okigwe Zone) District at the Red chamber.

As massive reconstruction works are ongoing along the Owerri - Orlu 37km dual carriage way, equipment and manpower have also been deployed to the Owerri - Okigwe 55km road.

Today also, I had the esteemed audience of Mr. Boss Mustapha and Alhaji Mai Mala Buni, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and the Governor of Yobe State/ Chairman, All Progressive Congress (APC)

I recieved in audience, stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abia State at the Exco Chamber, Imo State Government House, Owerri.

Today, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Agricultural Land Development Agency (NALDA) on livestock production and related agricultural farming led by the Director, Prince Paul Ikonne.

Today, we received the members of the Executive Management Course (EMC) 14 of the National Institute for security studies (NISS) to Imo State, at the Exco Chambers, Government House, Owerri.

Over the weekend, we joined Air Vice Marshal Remigius Nnamdi Eke at the burial ceremony of his mother-in-law, Late Mrs. Fanny Ikediala at Imerienwe, Ngor Okpala LGA.

I join millions across the globe to celebrate our mothers today.

Earlier today, His Excellency, Dr. Kayode Fayemi , the Chairman of Nigerian Governors' Forum and Governor of Ekiti State was in Owerri to commission a major reconstructed road named - Chukwuma Nwoha, one of the young football stars from Imo State

Today, His Excellency, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, the Executive Governor of Abia State and I were at the Nigerian Naval School of Finance and Logistics College, Owerrinta, Naval base, Abia State for the commissioning of some Central Bank intervention projects.

I condemn in strong terms, the Monday wee-hours attacks on facilities belonging to the Police and Correctional Services in Owerri. The development is regrettable and I call for thorough investigation into the dastardly act.
