We have constituted a Judicial Commission of Enquiry into the recent insecurity challenge in the State which led to the loss of lives and properties.

Yesterday, I joined my wife, the Imo State First Lady, Her Excellency Barr (Mrs.) Chioma Uzodimma and Imo women at the 2021 Grand Finale of the Imo Women's August Meeting with the theme: ""Nzuko umu nwanyi oma"" at Heroes Square, Owerri.

As the 61st Independence Day Celebration of our great nation Nigeria approaches, we began the commemoration today with a church service at the Government House Chapel, Owerri wherein we offered thanksgiving to God almighty for his amazing love

It is now an established legal fact that lands and properties belonging to both the government and individuals were either illegally acquired or misappropriated in the past as identified by the Judicial Commission of Inquiry.

We have continued to progress the course of building our dear State and restoring it to a motherland we are proud of. Despite the numerous challenges we are faced with, both the politically motivated and those of natural cause

It is with a heart full of gratitude that I, on behalf of the good people of Imo State, welcome His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR to the Eastern Heartland on a working visit to commission some of our completed people-oriented projects.

Our Urban Renewal Project continues to yield projected outcome thereby complementing other ongoing and completed projects for the comfort and welfare of our people.

Today, I joined the family, friends, associates and well-wishers of Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu at the Cathedral Church of St. Mathew Attah, Ikeduru Diocese of the Anglican Communion, as he celebrates his 79th Birthday in thanksgiving to the Lord.
